Align Astrology ("Align", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Align mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please read this policy carefully. By using Align, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

3.2 Anthropic Claude API

We use the Anthropic Claude API to generate AI-powered astrological interpretations. Your birth data is sent to Anthropic's servers to produce personalized readings but is not stored by Anthropic. 3.3 RevenueCat

3.4 Expo Push Notifications

We use Expo's push notification service to deliver notifications to your device. Expo processes your device push token to route notifications. For more information, visit Expo's Privacy Policy.

3.5 Agora.io

We use Agora for voice and video calling infrastructure. Real-time audio and video streams are routed through Agora's servers during active calls. No call recordings are stored by Agora. For more information, visit Agora's Privacy Policy.

3.6 OpenStreetMap Nominatim

We use OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service for birth location geocoding. City names you enter are sent to resolve geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude). For more information, visit OpenStreetMap's Privacy Policy.

3.7 Google Maps / Apple Maps

We use Google Maps and Apple Maps for map rendering in astrocartography features. Your interactions with the map may be subject to Google's or Apple's respective privacy policies.

We collect anonymous usage analytics (feature usage, screen views) to improve the App. You can opt out of analytics data collection at any time through the App's Settings > Privacy & Data section. When opted out, no analytics events will be tracked or transmitted.

7. Your Rights and Data Control

7.1 Account Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the App's settings. Upon account deletion, we will permanently remove all of your personal information — including your profile, messages, posts, friend connections, media files, and analytics data — from our active databases. Some information may be retained in encrypted backups for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, after which it will be permanently deleted.

11. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. Analytics events are automatically purged after 90 days. Expired stories are removed after 24 hours. Read notifications are removed after 60 days. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
